Homebuyer Event

Apr 13, 2015 | Posted in Blog

You’re done with renting apartments. Or maybe you’ve decided your family has outgrown your current house. You’re officially considering one of the biggest purchases you’ll ever make….a home.

You have an idea of things you’d like it to have. You know where you want to live. And now you’re ready.

And then you hear…

First-time homebuyer assistance!

Low closing costs!

Priced lower than assessed!

FHA and VA loans accepted/available!

And suddenly it’s clear that you have no idea where to begin. Even if it’s just been a few years since buying your current home, you can feel very overwhelmed.

St. Martin Center has specialized in all things homebuying since 1998 when our housing education department was established. Who better to help you navigate these tricky waters than folks who have been doing it for 17 years?

To help you in this process, we’re offering a one-day, open to the public, free event. Our Homebuyer Resource Expo will take place on Wednesday, April 22nd from 10am-5pm in our multi-purpose room (1701 Parade Street).

This expo will feature vendors from the homebuying profession – mortgage, real estate…you name it. It’s a chance to come ask all of your questions, find out information on products, get into the “nitty gritty” of the process….all in a no-pressure atmosphere.

We’re thrilled to have this event, and thrilled to invite you. Come ask all your questions, learn about which products are best for you, and learn what you need to do to get into your dream home.
